The second season of the docuseries “Lucía en la web” premieres on April 29 on RTVE Play
The successful docuseries of the case about the murder of Lucía Garrido returns with the premiere, on April 29, of Lucía en la web II. The second season, produced by CAPA España (iZen Group) in association with RTVE, premieres its new episodes on RTVE Play. The continuation of the true crime, winner of the Golden Globe at the World Media Festival in Hamburg and the API Award for Investigative Journalism, will focus on the repetition of the trial in the case of Lucía Garrido, murdered on her farm in Los Naranjos, in Alhaurín de la Torre (Málaga), in 2008.
On the occasion of the premiere, RTVE Play will hold a presentation event on the same day at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, where the first episode of the new season will be screened. Next, a discussion will take place with part of the team. Admission will be free until the forum is completed.
Fifteen years after Lucía's crime, the second season, now directed by Santi Aguado and Sofía Urwitz, will once again have the former civil guard Ignacio Carrasco as spokesperson for family and friends, who will provide key evidence, as well as the investigators of Internal Affairs. For their part, the accused, the ex-partner and the alleged hitman, hope to repeat the judicial acquittal they had in 2019. Synopsis
The second season, which will premiere on April 29 at 8:00 p.m. on RTVE Play, will consist of two chapters in which new audios, revelations and interviews have been included that allow us to x-ray how drug trafficking operates on the Costa del Sol
